My Story

I am Shannon and I am so excited to be part of your Yoga Journey!

I truly believe that yoga is for every Body and every Mind.

My class style is inclusive and offers an approach that is available to all in a friendly, safe, and supportive environment.

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 18 years now.

Yoga has changed me in so many ways. It has guided me, nurtured me, and allowed me to grow into a much more grounded and positive being.

My practice has helped me become stronger, more flexible, and fearless on and off the mat.

Yoga inspires me to live each moment more fully.

I began my journey in 2005 while I was pregnant with my daughter.

Being an avid step/cardio class student, I was looking for a gentler physical practice during my pregnancy. It was then that I fell in love with all that Yoga has to offer; mentally, physically, and emotionally.

I found myself wanting to learn more and deepen my own personal practice, which lead to the completion of my 200-hour teaching certification from Yoga Centre Winnipeg in 2014.

I currently have over 800 hours of trainings & I will always be a student of the practice

I have since furthered my studies with:

  • Advanced Yoga Teacher Training-300-hours with Hart Lazer - United Yoga Montreal

  • Omniji Teacher's College Winnipeg 50 hour Yin Yoga certification

  • Peg City Yoga 50 hours Sivatantra Yoga Certification

  • Yoga Fit Level 1 & Health Care Level 1

  • IM=X Pilates Basic Certification,

  • The Yoga Barre- Barre Teacher training (November 2018)

  • TRX Certification

  • POUND certification

  • Anti-Gravity Fitness

  • Aqua Physical FloatFit Hiit, Balance and Grow certifications.

I am so deeply grateful for all the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me

My desire is help others thrive and live more fully by nurturing their body, mind, and soul through yoga.

My hope is that you step off your mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.

“Yoga is bringing fitness in body, calmness in mind, kindness in heart and awareness in life.
